A deposit of 40% is payable on confirmation of the booking, the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Payments are by UK cheque in sterling.
We do not charge a security deposit and operate on trust, however any
breakages or damage must be reported to us and we will use our
discretion to charge a replacement fee (any minor breakages of crockery
or glassware etc just replace as necessary for the convenience of other
users).
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you obtain full and comprehensive holiday
travel insurance to cover any medical problems, loss, injury or damage
to yourselves and belongings whilst on holiday. This should also
include travel delay and holiday cancellation. We accept no
responsibility whatsoever for such events however caused and use of our
cottage is always at your own risk. Fire extinguisher and smoke alarms are installed.
The cottage is a non-smoking environment - if you smoke in the garden please clear away any cigarette ends for the sake of other guests.
CANCELLATION If cancellation takes place please give us as much notice as possible,
if we can
re-book your week(s) we will refund your deposit.
In the unlikely event we have to close the cottage for any reason for holiday letting we will give as much notice as possible and fully refund all fees paid and will not be held responsible for any other costs incurred.
