This lake is stunningly beautiful, it
is approximately 30 mins drive from the cottage. Heading for Mur de
Bretagne you turn off the main road towards the small village of Caurel and
follow the narrow road down to the lake at Beau Rivage. Your first glimpse of
this 12 km llake surrounded by pine forest will be memorable, but due to the
shape and contour the only way to truly appreciate its beauty is to hire a motor
boat. At Beau Rivage there are campsites, restaurants and a clean sandy beach
where children can swim safely in the crystal clear water. Lake Guerledan is a
must for anyone visiting central Britanny.
